Nexithon Technologies ("Nexi.fund", "we", "us", "our") operates the website nexi.fund (the "Site"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect personal data when you visit the Site or leave a comment (if commenting is enabled). It is written to comply with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Cyprus Law on the Protection of Natural Persons with Regard to the Processing of Personal Data (Law 125(I)/2018), as Cyprus is an EU Member State and this Policy is governed by EU data protection law.

If you have questions about this Policy or how we handle your data, contact us at: [email protected]

1. Data Controller

The data controller responsible for your personal data is:

Nexithon Technologies Ltd
a company registered in Cyprus with Registration Number HE 492630, having its registered office at 2 Spartakou Street, 3021 Limassol, Cyprus
Email: [email protected]

2. What Personal Data We Collect

We do not use analytics, tracking pixels, advertising cookies, or any newsletter/subscription system on this Site. We collect only the minimal personal data generated by normal operation of the Site:

Data When collected Purpose
Name, email address, comment content Commenting on articles (if commenting is enabled) Publishing and moderating comments
IP address, browser type, access timestamps Automatically, via server/hosting logs Site security, fraud prevention, technical troubleshooting

If a contact form, comment system, or any other data-collecting feature is added to the Site in future, this table and the rest of this Policy will be updated accordingly before that feature goes live.

We do not collect special categories of data (health, religion, political opinion, etc.), and we do not knowingly collect data from children under 16.

3. Cookies

The Site uses only strictly necessary cookies required for basic functionality (e.g., remembering cookie consent choices, session security). We do not set analytics, marketing, or third-party advertising cookies. Because no non-essential cookies are used, no cookie-consent banner offering opt-in/opt-out choices for analytics is required — however, we still disclose cookie use here for transparency, as required by the ePrivacy rules applicable in Cyprus.

If this changes in future (e.g., analytics is added), this Policy and our cookie banner will be updated accordingly, and consent will be requested before any non-essential cookie is set.

Processing activity Legal basis
Publishing comments Consent (Art. 6(1)(a))
Server/security logs Legitimate interest in Site security (Art. 6(1)(f))

5. How We Use Your Data

We use the personal data described above only to:

  • Display and moderate public comments (if commenting is enabled)
  • Maintain Site security and diagnose technical issues
  • Comply with legal obligations where applicable

We do not sell personal data, and we do not use it for automated profiling or algorithmic decision-making that produces legal or similarly significant effects on you.

6. Data Sharing and Processors

We may share data with service providers acting as processors on our behalf, strictly to operate the Site:

  • Hosting server, located in Italy (EU) — hosts the site and stores published content and any comments

Because our hosting provider is located within the EU, no international (outside-EEA) data transfer occurs, and no additional transfer safeguard (such as Standard Contractual Clauses) is required for this processing.

We do not share data with third parties for their own marketing purposes, and we do not currently use any email/newsletter service or automation platform that processes visitor personal data.

7. Data Retention

  • Comments: retained as long as the related article remains published, unless you request removal
  • Server logs: retained for 90 days for security purposes, then automatically purged

8. Your Rights under GDPR

As a data subject, you have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Rectify inaccurate or incomplete data
  • Erase your data ("right to be forgotten"), subject to legal exceptions
  • Restrict processing in certain circumstances
  • Object to processing based on legitimate interest
  • Data portability for data you provided to us
  • Withdraw consent at any time (e.g., request removal of a comment you posted), without affecting prior lawful processing

To exercise any of these rights, email [email protected]. We will respond within one month, as required by GDPR.

9. Right to Lodge a Complaint

If you believe your data protection rights have been violated, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Cyprus data protection authority:

Office of the Commissioner for Personal Data Protection (Cyprus)
Iasonos 1, 1082 Nicosia, Cyprus
Website: www.dataprotection.gov.cy

You may also complain to the supervisory authority of your own EU country of residence.

10. Data Security

We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures (e.g., HTTPS encryption, access controls on hosting and automation systems) to protect personal data against unauthorized access, loss, or misuse. No system is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be announced on the Site or via the newsletter where appropriate.
